Kate Moorse

Kate Moorse – Trustee: Currently Secretary and Archivist
Kate commenced her teaching career in London secondary schools, progressing to a role coordinating history and social science teams and working as a humanities adviser across London.
Kate subsequently led at a national level on curriculum design and guidance across all key stages and aspects of the wider curriculum.
Since retirement, Kate has undertaken teacher trainer/advisory work on various fronts focusing predominantly on the humanities curriculum.
In 2010 Kate was approached by Ram Todd (founder of HTTEF) to help extend the work of his new foundation and develop a programme to train young rural women in the Punjab to teach ‘early years’ pupils. Over the next 3 years, Kate managed a series of volunteers who worked with Indian colleagues in successfully training several cohorts of students.
Since that early initiative, Kate has continued to provide a strong lead and ongoing support to the work of the foundation both practically and administratively.
