Ben Taubman – Senior Associate:   Distance learning and cross organisational links.

Ben is a highly experienced educationalist, having spent a career in secondary education leading to the role of Vice Principal of a London secondary school.

 In the initial stages of retirement, Ben undertook various charity project in India and Ghana.

Ben joined HTTEF in 2015, working in Delhi, India where he designed and launched a successful teacher mentoring programme across a federation of 12 schools. The work involved face to face training and incorporated classroom observational practice.

Ben has most recently developed a strong working partnership between HTTEF and the Commonwealth Education Trust. This has involved the launching and running of the CET Teach 2030 ‘distance learning’ programme with significant numbers of partnership schools in India and Cameroon. Ben’s team of UK colleagues lead the work in liaison with linked Indian educational facilitators.
